When I was just out of college, I moved across the country with no job lined up, with no apartment secured - just a big dream to live in New England, hoping to find a new home where I could really blossom and live freely.

I let the flowers on this vase grow a bit wild as I carved them into the clay. The design is a small reminder to me of the beauty that can grow from perseverance and taking chances.
