Rocky Mountain High Mug

The hand-carved mountains on this piece remind me of the mountain ranges that I grew up with out West, and memories of my dad always singing John Denver around the house. Rocky Mountain High is one of his greatest tunes, and it speaks to my not-so-secret dream of living up in the mountains, quiet and away from the bustle of the world.  

The mountain design on this mug is hand-carved. I love carving into clay and the feeling of running your fingers across the etched in lines on a finished piece. 

Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe, but I recommend washing by hand and limited microwaving.
